In a world where inequality transcends borders and touches every facet of society, the International Conference on Inequality & Social Policy seeks to bring together leading and junior scholars, graduate students, and practitioners to dissect the complexities of economic, social, and political inequalities. This conference will be a crucible for innovative ideas, rigorous research, and cross-sector dialogue that aim to address the multifaceted nature of inequality — from its impact on social welfare systems to the challenges it poses to democratic governance and the various dimensions of poverty it perpetuates. We will prioritize research with a regional focus on Korea. Research on a general topic or on other countries can be considered, but there should be discussions on its implications for Korea.
